4.Premier Home Inspection is an affiliate member of the Hampton Roads Realtors Association.
5.Premier Home Inspection has been in business since 1999, with over 1,000 inspections performed.
6.Premier Home Inspection travels throughout southeastern Virginia and is able to provide "quick turnaround" inspections. (We work within your schedule!)
7.Premier Home Inspection is often called upon to inspect "new" or recently built homes, but we specialize in the inspection of "older" homes. (1985 and older). Older homes are where we logically find the most defects and problems!
8.Premier Home Inspection provides a combination "narrative/checklist style" of report immediately following each inspection. This type of report is necessary in helping our clients to make a more fully informed final decision about whether or not to purchase a home. (Many inspectors use only a "checklist" report, which can not fully explain the conditions encountered, leaving both the buyer and seller in the dark as to what caused the defect or condition in the first place!) Make sure that the inspection company that you hire provides you with more than just a "list" of defects at the conclusion of the inspection!
The Premier Home Inspection Edge!
Your inspector's extensive background as a construction administrator and on-site quality control specialist give him an "edge" in this field. Many inspectors come into this technically demanding field with limited, or specialized backgrounds within individual construction trades. Some inspectors have little or no construction experience whatsoever and must rely totally on inspector training programs and limited "in-the-field" experience. Although they provide home inspection services, possibly in accordance with recommended guidelines, they may not be able to adequately analyze discovered defects, particularly those of a highly technical nature, in order to determine and explain causes and symptoms correctly. This inadequacy may also limit their ability to properly educate their clients on how to prevent reoccurrence.
